As Viet Nam is estimated to need on average US$210 billion in infrastructure per year through 2030 to meet its development targets, Asian Development Bank (ADB) expert suggested the country should adopt new approaches to get the huge capital.
Over the next five years, the Asian Development Bank will support
investment and policy reforms in Viet Nam that promote more inclusive
and environmentally sustainable economic growth.
Viet Nam''s economy continues to perform well but is being hindered by a
number of challenges, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) said in a
flagship report released on September 27.
The Asian Development Bank yesterday forecasted Viet Nam''s GDP growth
would reach 5.6 per cent this year with further expectations it may hit
5.8 per cent in 2015.
